Updates

December 13, 2016: Kylo Ren was not a fan of greens until we introduced him/her to leafy green lettuce – now he munches it right up! Kylo is pulled bi-weekly for an antibiotic injection, during which our vet staff gives him a thorough look over. Overall, Kylo Ren seems to be recuperating well!

January 6, 2017: Kylo is gaining weight and is in great body condition. However, s/he is also very picky about eating the vitamins and often spits them out after eating the fish they are encased in – must have picked up a trick or two from Princess Leia! Luckily, with patience and determination our team members are able to get Kylo to eat them! S/he enjoys resting in the seaweed during the day.

February 7, 2017: After just two short months of rehabilitation, Kylo Ren has received a clean bill of health! He/she will be heading down to Florida today for release!
