Most recently, the Aquarium installed two 55-gallon rain barrels outside the main Aquarium entrance. Rain barrels collect rainwater that would other be lost to runoff and diverted to storm drains or ocean. This water can then be used for practical purposes like watering gardens like the Aquarium has in front of its building! |
