How
do I print an entire activity?
- First, make sure that
your computer is connected to a printer.
- To print an entire activity,
click on the button in the upper right corner of the page that reads "Print
Activity" (see screen capture).

- Clicking on this button
will open another page listing the entire Curriculum Activity, with all
sections (Main, Standards, etc.) on the same page. In the upper right
corner of that page you will see buttons that read "Print" and "Back."

- Click on the "Print"
button. Your standard Print dialogue box should appear. Depending on what
kind of computer you are using, click either "Print" or "OK"
from this dialogue box.

- As a general rule, you
should be able to print just about every page on the site. However, most Mac
users will not be able to use these print buttons and will need to print pages
by clicking on "Print" from the browser menu bar.

I
opened the Glossary, a datasheet, or a Cross-Curricular extension and now can't get back to the Curriculum.
- When you open the Glossary
by clicking on a key term, a datasheet, or a Cross-Curricular extension, you might
find that the new window remains "frozen" open on your screen
and that you can't get back to the main Curriculum page.
- If this happens, you must first close the Glossary,
datasheet, or Cross-Curricular extension page by clicking
on the "Close" button in the upper right corner of the page. See
the screen capture below of the Glossary, and notice the "Close"
button.
- However, if you are using
Netscape Navigator, the Glossary, datasheet, or Cross-Curricular extension
page that you open will not "freeze," and you will be able to jump
back to the main Curriculum without closing this window. You will have two
windows open. Keep in mind that when you jump back to the Curriculum window
without closing, the Glossary, datasheet, or Cross-Curricular extension window
will become hidden behind the main Curriculum window. The next
time you click on a key term or link to a datasheet, cross-curricular extension,
or another website, the content will open in the window that is hidden. In
this case, it will appear as though the link does not work, because the content
has been changed in the window that you cannot see.

I
am clicking on a link, but nothing is happening.
- If you are clicking on
a link to the glossary, to a datasheet, to a cross-curricular extension, or
to another website and nothing is happening, check to see if you have a second
browser window open. This second browser window may be hidden from view behind
another browser window. In this case, it will appear as though the link does
not work, because the content has been changed in the window that you cannot see.
- If you are clicking on
a glossary key term and nothing is happening, close out of the Online Curriculum
and start over.
- If you have tried #1
and #2 and the link still isn't working, contact Elizabeth Bartoccini, Distance Learning
Coordinator, at:
