11 AM – DIVE INTO THE GREAT OCEAN TANK
LOCATION: LOWER OCEAN TANK

Find out what it’s like to dive in our largest exhibit, the Great Ocean Tank. Interact with a scuba diver and learn how we care for all those fish!

11:30 AM – TURTLE TALK
LOCATION: ZUCKER FAMILY SEA TURTLE RECOVERY

Hear about the process of rescue, rehabilitation and release from our Sea Turtle Care Center staff, and learn what it takes to be a sea turtle biologist.

12 PM – ALL ABOUT ALLIGATORS
LOCATION: COASTAL PLAIN

Meet the king of the swamp, the alligator! Hear about what makes Alabaster our albino alligator so unique, and learn how American alligators thrive in the Lowcountry.

1 PM – NATURE DISCOVERY
LOCATION: GREAT HALL

This informal program encourages guests to get their hands dirty while making their own natural discoveries.

2 PM – TURTLE TALK
LOCATION: ZUCKER FAMILY SEA TURTLE RECOVERY

Hear about the process of rescue, rehabilitation and release from our Sea Turtle Care Center staff, and learn what it takes to be a sea turtle biologist.

2:30 PM – DAILY ENRICHMENT

You’ll find smaller crowds on weekdays before 11 a.m. or after 2 p.m.

Visiting with Young Children

Here are a few tips for those visiting with babies or toddlers:

  • A quiet, private nursing room is located on the first floor across from the gift shop.
  • Changing tables are located in the restrooms on the first floor, across from the Aquarium Gift Shop.
  • Strollers are welcome inside the Aquarium and are also available to rent for $1 (free for Members) at the Welcome Desk located in the Great Hall.
FIN-tastic Photo Opportunities

Take home a family photo you’ll treasure forever from Magic Memories. You’ll be handed a business card after your picture is taken – it will have the PhotoCard Number you need to order your print from home.

Shop the Aquarium Gift Shop

Our gift shop is swimming with goodies for the whole family. Take home a little treasure; give a little support to our animals.

Grab a Bite at the Sea Turtle Snack Bar
