Experts will give you a glimpse into the fascinating lives of fish, mollusks and other beach dwellers as you walk along. Space is limited. $15 per member.

We’re teaming up with our friends at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) for a one-of-a-kind trawling experience for families in the Charleston Harbor! After embarking on SCDNR’s “E/V Discovery” from their campus at Fort Johnson, we’ll explore wildlife from the Aquarium’s “bonus exhibit” up close. Children 10 years and older are welcome and space is limited; registration is $20 per both member child or adult.

Known as one of the best beachcombing locations in the Charleston area, Morris Island is a prime spot for finding fossils as well — make sure to keep your eyes peeled as you walk along the beach! Registration is $60 per member adult and $36 per member child (ages five and older). Space is limited.
