Jennifer and Shane included the Aquarium in so many important aspects of their lives because of the incredible experience it offers to people of all ages. “There’s something mesmerizing about peeking into a world that’s not your own,” Shane says. “The Aquarium’s design is brilliant – you can walk through it as if you’re walking across the entire state.”

Just as Jennifer and Shane have grown together, the Aquarium has grown with them. They chose the Aquarium for their wedding reception, eager to share the place that was so important to their love story with family and friends. Now that they have children, the Aquarium has taken on a new dimension as they see it through the eyes of their daughters Kelby and Mackenzie. “As a parent, I love to see my daughters light up when they’re at the Aquarium,” Jennifer says.

Jennifer and Shane support the Aquarium by sharing their time and resources. At their wedding, they requested that guests donate to the Sea Turtle Hospital in lieu of gifts. Shane is an active member of the Ocean Alliance, the Aquarium’s young patrons circle. Most recently, they helped the Aquarium acquire a cold laser therapy machine to better equip the medical care center.
