Daily Programs

10 am –  All about Otters

Hike on up to the Mountain Forest to see our North American River Otters receive their daily enrichment. Learn about the amazing adaptations otters possess and watch them explore changes to their environment.

11 am – Dive into the Great Ocean Tank

Meet us in the Lower Ocean Gallery to find out what it’s like to dive in our largest exhibit, the Great Ocean Tank. Interact with a scuba diver and learn how we care for all those fish.

11:30 am – Turtle Talk

Join us in our newest exhibit, Zucker Family Sea Turtle Recovery, for a quick orientation of our Sea Turtle rescue efforts. See what it takes to be a turtle biologist and learn how our turtles move from rescue to rehab to release.

12 pm – All About Alligators

Make your way up to the blackwater swamp to learn about the king of the swamp, the alligator! Hear about what makes Alabaster our albino alligator so unique and how American alligators thrive in the Lowcountry.

1 pm – Nature Discovery

Join us in the great hall for Nature Discovery. This informal program encourages guests to get their hands dirty while making their own natural discoveries.

2 pm – Ambassador Animal Enrichment

Join Aquarium staff in the Great Hall as they highlight our featured creature of the day and learn how changes to their environment help promote happy and healthy lives for all of our animals.

 2:30 pm – Turtle Talk
