Have you ever wondered how fish move from the ocean to their spawning grounds in our lakes and rivers? Find out how this journey works in an exclusive, behind the scenes tour of the St. Stephen Fish Lift, led by South Carolina Department of Natural Resources! This facility is the only one of its kind in South Carolina, providing safe passage to hundreds of thousands of fish each year. This program is $10 per member adult; we will meet at the fish lift to start the tour.

Do you know the ebb and flow between eclipses and ocean tides? From orbital cycles and gravity to eclipses and tides, come explore some of the ways celestial bodies influence our oceans. As part of Lifelong Learning Talks on Tap, uncover the connection between space and sea with Dr. Chris Fragile, professor of physics and astronomy at the College of Charleston. Member tickets are $5 and general admission tickets are $10; events will include light bites, beer and wine.
