Join us for a member-exclusive SeaRise Stroll in Liberty Square, right in front of the Aquarium! As you walk through the flood water, learn about the effects of tidal flooding in our community and how you can help impact solutions for the future. Then, enter data — like photos, salinity and water depth — into the SeaRise Project, located in the South Carolina Aquarium Citizen Science app. This data from citizen scientists (like you!) helps researchers and decision-makers create solutions for flooding and sea level rise. Dress in comfortable clothing that can get wet and rain boots or water shoes; don’t forget your reusable water bottle, too! Registration is FREE for members 10 years of age and older.
