Ticket Terms and Conditions

South Carolina Aquarium Ticket Terms and Conditions

Ticket Agreement

Tickets are valid only for the specific date, time and event listed. Used, unused, partially used or lost tickets are non-refundable.

Transfer Policy

Tickets purchased for the South Carolina Aquarium are the responsibility of the purchaser. Tickets may not be resold or exchanged. Unauthorized resale or duplication may result in cancellation without a refund. Tickets are valid for one-time use only. Transferring a ticket forfeits the original purchaser’s access, and the new ticket holder is subject to all rules and regulations posted by the South Carolina Aquarium. South Carolina Aquarium memberships are non-transferable.

Right To Cancel

The South Carolina Aquarium may cancel or reschedule events at any time. If an event is cancelled or our general operating hours change, a full refund will be issued within 30 days using the original payment method. Updates will be posted at scaquarium.org, and ticket holders will be notified by email.

Right To Terminate License

A ticket to the South Carolina Aquarium is a revocable license. The Aquarium reserves the right to dismiss guests and revoke this license without refund for violations of the South Carolina Aquarium Code of Conduct. Some events may require additional waivers or have separate terms. Events operated by third parties are subject to their own policies.

General Admission Ticket Rescheduling Policy

Guests may request to reschedule general admission tickets up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit, subject to availability. A small administrative fee may apply. Rescheduling is not available after the original ticket date and entry time. This policy applies only to general admission tickets.

Aquarium Aglow Ticket Rescheduling Policy

Guests may request to reschedule Aquarium Aglow tickets up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit, subject to availability. A small administrative fee may apply. Rescheduling is not available after the original ticket date and entry time. This policy applies only to Aquarium Aglow tickets.

Membership Policy

Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Members must follow the South Carolina Aquarium Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in dismissal from the Aquarium and membership cancellation without a refund.

Group Reservation Policy

Group leaders agree to payment and behavior policies before arrival. Groups must follow the Aquarium’s Code of Conduct and Group Behavior Agreement. Violations may result in group dismissal and loss of future visit privileges.

Venue Rentals

Rental clients agree to the terms outlined in the South Carolina Aquarium Rental Agreement.
