Embrace your creative side while surrounded by the native wildlife of South Carolina in this adults-only block printing class, led by our very own senior manager of school programs, Jaime Thom. Learn how to carve your own design and test out your print making skills, then take your carving block home with you to continue this artistic outlet. All skill levels are welcome; carving blocks, tools and other supplies are provided. Registration is $25 per member adult and $35 per non-member adult.

Bring your little artists (ages seven and older) and create a sea turtle masterpiece along with lasting family memories! Led by Janell of Janellify, each of your painters will use provided supplies to paint their interpretation of a sea turtle, channeling our existing patients as inspiration. Then, take all finished paintings home to display! All skill levels are welcome and no experience is necessary. Registration is $12 per member child, $15 per member adult or non-member child and $18 per non-member adult.

Get your body moving and your blood pumping during this body weight workout class with our very own director of conservation and certified fitness instructor, Dr. Sara McDonald! This class is open to adults 16+ of all experience levels and will take place in front of the Great Ocean Tank. Member adult registration is $12 and non-member adult registration is $18.

Channel your inner artist in this adults-only watercolor class at the Aquarium! Led by our very own graphic designer, Sierra Wheeler, this class will teach participants the foundations of watercolor art and basic techniques while drawing inspiration from the aquatic world around them. All skill levels are welcome; sketchbook, paints and pencils included. Registration is $25 per member and $35 per non-member.

Grab your family and join our staff on an adventure through the Aquarium at night! Learn more about our natural world, come face-to-face with live animals, participate in activities and create lasting memories at this exclusive member program after dark. Science at Sunset is recommended for families with children between ages eight and 12 years old. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided; capacity is limited. Registration is $20 per member adult and $25 per member child.
