Settle your senses and relax your mind in this adults-only tranquil meditation. Taking place in front of the Great Ocean Tank, this calming and meditative journey through sound provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and recenter yourself. Registration is $12 per member adult and $20 per non-member adult.

Get your heart rate up and your legs pumping as we ride in an outdoor spin class overlooking the Charleston Harbor! Our friends at Hot Girl Cycle Club are bringing stationary spin bikes to our outdoor classroom in front of the Boeing Learning Lab at the Charleston Maritime Center, blending blue mind with the intensity of a studio workout. A limited quantity of spin shoes will be available to rent, but we recommend bringing your own along with a reusable water bottle. This program is for adults 18+; registration is $20 per member adult and $26 per non-member adult. Please note: This is a high-intensity workout that requires physical activity while on a stationary bike.

Wind down and experience the positive effects of being surrounded by water in this evening yoga session, led by certified instructor Gail Corvette. Surrounded by sea life, hone your favorite yoga poses while in the expansive glow of the Great Ocean Tank. Adults 16+ of all experience levels are welcome; member adult registration is $12 and non-member adult registration is $18.

There are bodies of water in the middle of Francis Marion National Forest? We’re talking about Carolina bays, a unique habitat and geologic feature of unknown origin, which can be found just under an hour from the Aquarium! Led by a certified master naturalist from Nature Adventure Outfitters, adult members will have the opportunity to visit and learn more about these mysterious habitats during a 1.5 mile nature walk. No hiking experience needed and beginners are welcome; off-trail hiking will occur. Registration is $25 per member adult.

Surrounded by marine life, your little music maker (ages 2–5) will move and groove in this music and rhythm class by Ms. Crystal of The Music School! Registration is $10 per child; member adults attend for free and can enjoy Charleston Coffee Roasters coffee during the program.

This class, led by The Little Gym of Mount Pleasant, is designed for children ages 2–5 and is a great way to “shake the sillies out!” $5 per child; chaperones attend for free and can enjoy Charleston Coffee Roasters coffee during the class.

A member favorite! Assist Aquarium educators to search the sand and water for aquatic creatures in the marsh. We’ll drag a seine through the surf to find fish, crabs and other critters. Experts will give you a glimpse into the fascinating lives of fish, mollusks and other beach dwellers as you walk along. Space is limited. $15 per member.

Kids can dance, spin, leap and stretch surrounded by their favorite Aquarium animals! This monthly class, led by Dance Moves of Charleston, is designed for children ages 2–5. Kids will be introduced to basic ballet techniques, jumps, turns and stretches. $5 per child; chaperones attend for free and can enjoy Charleston Coffee Roasters coffee during the class.
