Daily: Member Event

Wind down and experience the positive effects of being surrounded by water in this evening yoga session, led by certified instructor Alex Rogers of Yoga Daily in Mount Pleasant. Surrounded by sea life, hone your favorite yoga poses while in the expansive glow of the Great Ocean Tank. Adults 16+ of all experience levels are welcome; member adult registration is $12 and non-member adult registration is $18.

This class, led by The Little Gym of Mount Pleasant, is designed for children ages 2–5 and is a great way to “shake the sillies out!” $5 per child; chaperones attend for free and can enjoy Charleston Coffee Roasters coffee during the class.

Settle your senses and relax your mind in this adults-only tranquil meditation led by Amanda Hardwick of Twisted Yoga. Taking place in front of the Great Ocean Tank, this calming and meditative journey through sound provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and recenter yourself. We’re going beyond the glass and into the world of sharks with our little aquarists (ages 5 and younger)! In this JAWesome program, your little shark lover will learn how we care for the sharks within our walls. Afterwards, they’ll complete a craft to take home with them. This program is $8 per member child; chaperones are free. Please note: Registration for this event does not include a member timed entry into the Aquarium.

Channel your inner artist in this adults-only watercolor class at the Aquarium! Led by our very own graphic designer, Sierra Wheeler, this class will teach participants the foundations of watercolor art and basic techniques while drawing inspiration from the aquatic world around them. All skill levels are welcome; sketchbook, paints and pencils included. Registration is $25 per member and $35 per non-member.
