Ahhh April….the start of spring and new beginnings – and a great time to start thinking about the healthy, sustainable, and LOCAL choices you can make in your life! Lowcountry Local First “Eat Local Month” began with a bang April 1, challenging lowcountry residents to dedicate $10 or more of their food budgets to locally sourced foods! Events continue throughout the month. A great and delicious way to jump on board is to enjoy local seafood! Abundant Seafood’s dock on Shem Creek is the perfect to pick up incredibly fresh, local seafood choices to fuel creativity in the kitchen!
